Ron, you were my inspiration for living a happy life. I remember as teenagers, how much we struggled and how we didn't think we would make it out of those dark times. But you did. You went out and saw the world. You built a career for yourself. You got married and I was able to see you full of happiness. Even days before we lost you, you tried your best to smile. I read the words you wrote to me when I can bear it. All I have to say is thank you. Thank you for being my friend. For showing me that there is always light in the darkness. The very first time we met Ron, we could see that there was something very special about her. She had a glow about her that said she was a very sweet and kind person. Q: How did you meet Ronhitha? A: I first met Ron during the fall 2024 semester in a class we had together. Out of every person in the class, she stood out to me the most. She had colorful hair and such a nice smile. She was someone who was always a positive and outgoing person, and her personality was bubbly. We weren’t friends but she was so kind to me. She helped me whenever I needed help. I always felt so comfortable around her. When I heard the news of Ron’s passing, I was in completely shock. May she rest in peace.

Ron was a fellow classmate of mine at John Jay College. She inspired myself and many fellow classmates. I was first introduced to Ron in my Intro to Philosophy class.
