I was lucky to meet Janusz- dad of my great friend Annette in 2012 visiting his beloved New York. He and Teresa where so kind to host me in one of apartments Janusz renovated all by himself in every single detail - definitely he was a craft DIY genius. One of many great stories Annette told me was when Janusz drove to Boston to pick her up from college, it was heavy raining and the car wipers completely broke down. He did not give up and constructed handmade wipers Annette had to operate by pulling a string from a passenger sit. This is how both made it safely home. That story always brings a smile. We share love for beautiful polish Mazury and water- where me and Annette went numerous times to build our own memories and I am sure we will go again and think of Janusz. Rest in Peace

I have never met Janusz but I am proud to be a friend of his beloved daughter Annette who will definitely continue his legacy in the future. Dad must have taught her daughter love to sports and nature, including kayaking. It was definitely Annette’s father to share with her his passion for cars. Moreover, Annette, thanks to his father, has a respect for education and hard work. I am deeply sorry for your loss. My condolences from Warsaw.
