Juan Feliciano (1934 - 2024) Juan Feliciano, a proud father of three children, passed away at the age of 89 in Brooklyn, New York, on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024. Born on September 12, 1934, in Maricao, Puerto Rico, to Ramona Caraballo and Dolores Feliciano, Juan was known for his sharp dressing from a young age. After graduating from high school, he was drafted into the United States Army, where he served his country with distinction. As a veteran, Juan earned numerous service medals and citations, including the Korean Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation. He took great pride in his duty to defend the freedom of citizens across the country. Juan was a devoted and loving father to his children: Harry Feliciano and his wife Jennifer, Nancy Mosca, and Juan Feliciano and his wife Eileen. He imparted many life lessons to them, enriched with Spanish proverbs and unique humor. His stories and wisdom have left an indelible mark on their lives. Juan's love for his children was profound, and he was immensely proud of their accomplishments. He was also a beloved grandfather, affectionately called “Papa Abuelo” to nine grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, and Thomas Feliciano (children of Harry Feliciano); Bruno and David Salgado, Tiffany Mosca (children of Nancy Mosca); and Jaden, Ryan, and Anthony Ayala Feliciano (children of Juan Feliciano). Juan cherished his role as a grandfather. Known for his humor, he brought immense joy to his grandchildren as they did to him. Juan was preceded in death by his brother, Pedro Feliciano, and his sister, Arcangela Feliciano Serrano. He is survived by his sisters, Leocadia Feliciano Massari and Sarah Feliciano Valentin.
