Obituary of Alexandra Arpino
Please share a memory of Alexandra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Alexandra Arpino (75) of Howard Beach passed away at Long Island Jewish Hospital on
February 12, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1949, in Germany and raised in Brazil.
Alexandra lived a life filled with love, resilience, and warmth. She spent her early years abroad
before moving to America as a young girl, embracing new challenges and opportunities with
unwavering determination. It was in night school, while learning English, that she met the love
of her life, Pasquale Arpino. They married and shared 58 wonderful years together, building a
beautiful life and a strong foundation for their family. Together, they experienced the unique
journey of being young immigrants navigating a new world hand in hand.
Alexandra and Pasquale created a loving family, raising three wonderful children—Anthony
Arpino, Rosanne Arpino, and Sandra Jamron (husband Jacob Jamron). She was a devoted
mother, always nurturing, always guiding. Her love extended even further to her three cherished
grandchildren—Brianna Rivero, Eli Jamron, and Issac Jamron—who brought her endless joy.
A woman of many passions, Alexandra found solace in her kitchen, where she crafted meals
filled with love and tradition. She had a deep appreciation for history, always eager to share
stories of the past, and she poured her heart into her garden, where she cultivated beauty and life.
But above all, she was a woman who welcomed everyone into her home with open arms,
creating a space where love and laughter flourished.
Alexandra was also a dedicated woman of faith, devoted to her local Kingdom Hall. Her faith
guided her through life’s challenges and joys, and she found strength and purpose in serving and
uplifting others.
Alexandra’s presence was a gift to all who knew her. Her kindness, wisdom, and boundless love
will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Though she is no
longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
