Azela Lambatin of Kew Gardens New York , peacefully returned to God’s loving embrace on July 13, 2025. She was born in Himamaylan, Negros Occidental, Philippines to Lope Monton+ and Lourdes Monton+. She was the second of eleven children. Azela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rito Lambatin. She is survived by her children, Romeo and wife Daisy, Joel, Riza, Ritzel, Lady and husband Noel. Her children were her pride and joy and meant the whole world to her. Azela was a beloved grandmother to her eleven grandchildren, Rodel, Rose Anne, Roselyn, Mary Frances, Catherine, Casselyn, Christian, Cristine, Andre Urs, Elianna Noelle and Oliver Aiden. She treasured her time with her grandkids and loved being their grandmother. Azela left behind her beloved pet and faithful companion of 15 years, Tristan. The two were inseparable and both had found comfort and love in each other’s company. Azela will always be remembered for her quiet and gentle nature. She was dearly loved by people who came to know her. We couldn’t have asked for a better mother. We will miss her dearly, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
