Holy God, my heart is heavy with sorrow because of the Death of my Loved One. He has left us and we do not know where he has gone to. His life was short, and his mind and heart struggled for freedom which he could not achieve here. We have no answers and answers can no longer comfort us. My grief sits heavy in my heart. But You are God, Holy and Merciful, and full of Love and Compassion. You look kindly on all who struggle, all who hope, all who are in need, and all who mourn. Fill my loved One with your Infinite Love, and throughout all Eternity, free him from the bonds that tied him down. It is You who raise us up, it is Your Love that is Eternal and forgiving, it is You who give comfort to the mourning for the loss of one who died too soon. And, it is You who will unite us in Heaven with him for all Eternity where he and we will be seen as You created us to be in Love. Amen.
