I knew Onik when I was working at Aerial Machine & Tool from 1981 till 1985. His company Jado Sewing Machine, was an important vendor for us. But for me I was a yong guy with no sewing related experience. Onik and his partners helped me, taught me and we formed a friendship that lasted beyond my time at Aerial. I am retired now and had lost touch. When I heard of his passing I felt the need to reach out and give my condolences, and say something about the man I knew and respected.
