She moved to New York City in 1987, where she practiced nursing and helped train new generations of health care professionals, until recently retiring in 2017.

In addition to her daughter, Precy is survived by her sister, Leticia (de Peralta) Cristal, as well as by several cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nephews, and their respective families. Precy is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Jesus de Peralta, Jr.
Precy will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends she made during the full life that she insisted on experiencing.
A funeral mass will be celebrated for her on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Our Lady of the Angelus on 63-63 98th St., Rego Park, NY at 10 o’clock a.m.
