Ann Marinelli. Born May 21, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Anna Torrago, died February 3, 2022 at her home in Rego Park, NY. She was a graduate of Eastern District High School and married the late Michael Rispoli on October 7, 1956.
Ann’s love for reading led her to work for The Julian Bach Literary Agency, Wendy Weil Agency, IMG and Queen Literary Agency which spanned over 40 years. Ann was a caring wife, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. Ann met the love of her life, James Marinelli while working in Manhattan and was married on June 24, 1967.
Ann was the niece of the late Mildred Augusto, sister of the late Marie Ragona, Florence Pollotta, Daniel Torrago, Dominick Torrago, and aunt of the late Carole Michaels (survived by John Michaels Sr.). Survivors include her beloved grand nieces, Kim (Will) Vlaun and children Adrianna and Taylor, Alison (Dave) Cobb, Joan (Dean) Karcz and children Leo and Jack, Michelle (Vernon) Hohloch and children Hannah and Lily, and her nephews, Peter Ragona and Mark (Karen) Agro, her grand nephew, John (Heather) Michaels Jr. and children, JD, Dean and Lily Ann, her cat, Picadilly and a special circle of cousins and friends.
Services will be at Glascott Funeral Home 102-03 Metropolitan Avenue Forest Hill, NY 11375 from 2 pm – 4pm and 7 pm- 9pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. A funeral mass is scheduled for 9:45 am on February 10, 2022 at Our Lady of Angelus church on the corner of 98th Street and 63rd Drive.
