Christina, Robert, Peter, Liza- My condolences to all of you and your families for your loss. May Tony rest in heavenly peace (Ngushllime). 39 years later I hope he lived his life to the fullest after all the tragedies you all endured together. Stay strong and remember family is in need of one another.

Anton has been a dear life-long friend to the family of Kapidan Ndue Gjon Gjomarkaj. He could always be counted on for anything, be it moving to a new apartment, or needing a ride somewhere, Anton was always ready. I have only great memories of my dear friend who taught me how to drive at the early age of 14. He would take me on the BQE and tell me "Now if the police stop us you have to hurry up and switch seats." This was back in the 1970s so to those who read this and are from that era you can appreciate the humor. More recently Anton and I would meet in Albania when he came to visit his sister. For the last few years, we met for lunch or coffee and it was always great to reminisce with him. I will sorely miss him, his laughter, and his generosity. May his four children Cristina, Liza, Peter, and Robert find solace in the fact that he lived life to the fullest and I'm sure with no regrets. Rest in Peace, dear friend.
